The furkids mom here. I gave the 'kids" the day off from posing.   They don't seem too bothered about it.  I couldn't post without a pic or 2 though. They are at the bottom.

I was reading stories on the internet and found a really good "feel good" one. I'd like to share it with you. The story was written by Diane Herbst on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 5:38 PM ET


World's Cutest Dog Gives $1 Million to Colorado Shelters
Dr. Papidies, a long-haired Chihuahua, was named the cutest dog in America. Now he's the country's most altruistic dog, donating his winnings to homeless cats and dogs.

The link below should take you to the whole story.  He was rescued and was a sickly two-and-a-half-pound puppy mill survivor with Addison's disease, an endocrine disorder. His owner said "I didn't know if he was going to make it.  He was in the hospital on I.V. antibiotics weekly for the first three months of his life."

2 pictures of 1 of our favorite places close by to go.  Lincoln Park.  As you can see it was a sunny day.  But not just any sunny day - it was June of last year.  Can you tell we are ready for Spring and sunshine & some warmer days?  

 On another note, by next week we will be getting about 25 to 30 more dogs from shelters in CA.  They are some cuties as usual.  The shelters down there have been great about doing all they can to save as many as the can and to help get them to us & other shelters.  Not only do Rescues Rock but so do a lot of the Shelters who try to save as many as they can.  What a hard job.  But lucky for the dogs that some do care so very much.
