Lula is Adopted!!

WhooHoo!! Lula has been adopted.  She was one of the babies we fostered.  We had her Mom Dolly and her brothers Spike (who looked a lot like her), Brutus, and Bones.  All have great homes now.  If you remember Lula was adopted once but because she cried the 1st night, they changed their minds.  Probably good because she now has a forever home.  Way to go Lula!  We kind of think she looks a bit like Chica.  Not related.
Chica and I (Lucas) and M went to Lincoln Park for a walk.  There was a baby Seal on the beach.  A lady who is one of the "seal sitters" had put up a sign requesting people and their dogs stay away from that part of the beach.
Almost the same scene - Other people from the "Seal Sitters" were on their way to put up CAUTION tape to keep people away.  We understood the distance they would mark off was about a football field.  We mentioned it to some peoples we saw.  Most were curious and/or cooperative to stay away.
Chica and me leading the way.  M was nice and let us choose the way to go.  I guess she was enjoying the walk and sunshine.
Here we are again discussing which way to go next.  We thought about flipping a coin, but since we didn't have any "coins" or opposable thumbs, we decided to go inland from the upper trail away from the beach scene.
Mom, what were you thinking.... This is out of place.  This was before we went walking.  BUT it is a good picture of Ernie(being black in color he doesn't show up too well), Sasha, and Chica checking out the happenings on the street. "Who was that dog??? Don't recognize him -so let's all bark and let him know we're here".
Walking along the  beach.  Sure was nice there.  That big tree trunk wasn't there the last time we were here.  Wonder where it came from or how far away????  It was a lot Bigger than it looks like in the picture.
Walking along the upper trail.  Lots of sniffs and even some interesting squirrels.  M had us on the leashes so we couldn't chase them.  They did run down the steep hillside, so we might have had trouble getting over some of the logs and stuff.  Or we could have gone under.....We are probably small enough.....Ernie didn't get to go because sometimes on long walks his leg bothers him  Just so's you know---- When we got home from Lincoln,  M took Ernie and Sasha for a walk of their very own.  Have a fun weekend!!!     Lucas for Chica,Ernie, and Sasha
