e hasn't

How do you like my zombie eyes.... It's me Sparky. I am still a foster BUT a really nice lady spent a LONG time with me Saturday at the Adoption Event. I could tell she really liked me. She was really missing her old dog who went to the Bridge. So she is taking her time. I liked her so am hoping she will decide to adopt me.
Poor Ernie, he is pitiful. The other day he was Running to the house and he slipped in the wet grass on the hill. He yelped and then wouldn't use his knee. Maybe lucky it was the other knee....and not the one that had surgeries a few months ago.
Here he is at the vet. Stressing a bit... and showing his tongue with the black spots. He is good and likes the vet and the others BUT he would just as soon Not be there. Well, he is on crate rest for another week or so then back to the vet to see if it is better. Heard foster mom say the vet that fixed
his left knee moved on and bought another practice a long way away from us. So... she is looking for another surgeon vet if he needs surgery again. No walks for him and no being off leash even to go outside to potty. Bummer.....
Our newest foster, Sammy. A Dachschund. She is about 4 but most think she is older than that. Very sweet, walks great on a leash and house trained. At least from what we can tell since she came her Saturday.
Chica and Lucas at the park near us. Mom wanted to get a picture of the collars she made but as you can see ...you can't see them.
Here I am laying with Sasha and Tarzan (who was adopted a couple of weeks ago). Sasha is just the sweetest girl. I like laying by her. She is getting old. She is 13. Hasn't been feeling too well. She still like to play some and go for walks. She is wonderful will all us fosters. Her tail wags and welcomes us when we get here. Thanks Sparky. You did good, now I will continiue.... She went to the vet last week and found out she is dealing with laryngeal paralysis. The vet said sometimes it moves quickly and other times more slowly. We know the time is coming when we will have to make a decision. Not looking forward
to that. Her hips are getting worse and we DO NOT want her to suffer. We are taking it a day at a time. We think she will let us know when. Right now she seems stable and there hasn't been any change so far.
We are making the rounds and working to visit everyone. Thanks for visiting and commenting. We love it
