New Years Eve

Hi furiends Mom is trying something new. Posting on my blog using her fancy phone.

This little cutie is named Tucker.  He is almost 3 months. He has a Lab looking kind of face but a tail like a Pug. It is thought he is probably a Pug/chihuahua mix....He came to us a week ago.Very sweet and happy and his coat is shiny and soft.
This is Chico.  He is still with us and is getting more fun and blossoming more all the time.  Fearfulness is so much less than when he came.  He has someone interested in him.  Keeping good thoughts it will be a good fit.:-)
The sunrise out our Window this morning.
Nala on the left and Rosie on the right.  Celebrating New Year's early.
Chico..we like this Xolo ...The Mexican hairless.  A very interesting breed.

Nala loves Lucas. He us her hero.

wishing everyone a special New Year.

Amazing...

Well, I don't know what happened BUT I tried signing in again finally on my laptop.  Oh yes this is Barb.  Ernie is busy - well all the dogs are.   They got some new chews and are quite busy trying to see how fast they can get rid of them.  The amazing part of this post is I was actually able to sign in  on my laptop   :>-) !!!   So while I was in I thought I would do a short post.  Hoping everybuddy is doing well and want to let you know we haven't forgotten about you all.

The video is of our 2 fosters.  Nala is the little one.  She is very sweet and we should have picked the name Wiggles... that is what she does.  She is the happiest little girl, even when being schooled by our alpha Chica or any of the other dogs. The tail wags even then.   Chico is the Xolo playing with her.  He was an owner surrender and was Very Fearful. We have had him for about 2 weeks and he has settled right in.  He cuddles with us and plays and we have seen such a big difference.  Even the director of  the rescue we volunteer with is amazed at his transformation.   Nala being such a happy girl has brought out the playful nature in Chico.  Now he even initiates play.

We have never had a Mexican Hairless before.  Really different but he does have a bit of hair on his head, his feet and the tip of his tail.  They are very smart dogs and we are learning a lot abouit the breed.  That is a good thing.  He loves my husband and I think the feeling is mutual.  If he doesn't get adopted by just the right people, he may be with us for a longgg time.  That wouldn't be so bad  either :-)

Hope to be back soon.  We will be visiting our furiends too.  Have a fun rest of the weekend.
