New Foster Pups & New Food

Hi Furiends, Hope everyone is having a good weekend. We have had a very busy one. First M & D loaded up the CRV & we headed out to do a transport for new foster pups. That CRV is great. Whoo was it loaded -- 5 crates, Sasha, Chica, & I, M & D, dog food, even a boy who needed a ride to his friends who lived where we were meeting people. Then we found out why.we got to go this time. We were going to get updated on Bordatella. WE were very good & behaved like the great dogs M & D think we are. Here are pics of Dove & Roo. Not sure about Dove for a name, maybe we should think about changing it. Dove is the white Poodle & Roo is the Chi mix. Mom says they are both very sweet. Me I think I will reserve judgment for a bit. They're OK but dog o dog there a 5 of us now here. We thought there would only be 1 coming home with us. We were supposed to only bring 1 foster (Dove) home. But we ended up with an extra one & if we hadn't taken Roo she might have had to go to the Humane Society because there was no one to take her. All the fosters are at capacity. She is too sweet to have taken the chance she would have ended up going to the BIG sleep place.
A close up of Roo aka Pinky. She is about a year old. She had a skin condition and is pretty much bald. BUT she is starting to get some hair. She was born with a deformed front leg. OMD is doesn't slow her down a bit. She uses it for balance. She is very fasssssst! Maybe she is part Greyhound or Whippet???? She is kinda scared of things but is already getting better.
This is fluffy little Dove. They say she is a miniature Poodle. Mom thinks the might have some & Schnauzer in her too. M thinks she looks & acts like a little me - only white instead of black. I heard M say she was going to give her a bath & hairtrim when her spay incision is healed enough.
It was a big long day for the new ones. They rode about 200 miles altogether. Dove sure knows how to rest. Kinda like a little me. I do this a lot too when I am tired.
We also got a sample of some new food. It is called Rotations. Each box contains 3 bags. Bag 1 is Chicken, Bag 2 is salmon,& Bag 3 is Lamb. They contain other stuff too. Mom set the box down & Sasha (who never does things like tearing up stuff) started ripping the box open. She was obsessed. When Sasha got the box open, M opened Bag 1 and gave all of us a taste. WE INhaled it. M even took a video but she thinks it is too long (about 4 mins). Mom had to take the box inside & put it up on the fridge so we couldn't get to it. Nummy!!!!
Still working on the box. Notice the cardboard where she was ripping it apart. Chica was helping her. Me, I was just watching & staying out of their way. Once she got the box open, Sasha started working on the bags. Never seen her be so persistent!!!!
Thanks for visiting. We love all our friends.

  5. That must be pretty good food if Sasha is so obsessed with it.

Dove is so cute. I think she's very pretty all fluffy like that, but she may not stay so while and fluffy when she starts playing with you.
