Hi furiends,
We went on a walk to Whiskey Woods with our friend Sammy & his mom. Looked pretty nice but as soon as we got close it started RAINING. What's with that?? We were looking for some more sun. Anyhow, it was fun even with the rain. Under the trees are flowers what mom calls Lily of the Valley. The red tree is a Japanese Maple.

When we got to Whiskey Woods we crossed the creek. Sometimes we get to go down to it but with the rain the 2 moms kept us 3 moving. (Sasha stayed home - was going to take her out later for a walk)

Mom didn't do too good with this pic. Kinda fuzzy. But it was the only pic Sammy was in. He is the white dot under the bushes. Think he was camera shy today. Also, maybe he was embarrassed.... We were all sniffing the same patch of green stuff - our noses to the ground and touching almost. THEN ...Sammy peed/marked the spot. BUT he actually peed on Chica's ear. Since it was raining, her ear probably got rinsed????!

We saw a Flicker in a dead tree on our walk. He was way up there & was watching us go by.

Getting ready to cross a bridge over part of the creek.

Had some good sniffs here too. I am trying to get Chica to move on. She's starting to do more sniffing than me & she does seem to enjoy a good sniff.

There were some pretty lilac & white flowers.

These logs & rocks had a lot of moss on them. Mom said it looked a bit like a rainforest...

More pretty flowers in the underbrush.

An old tree along the trail.

We had a really fun time even if it was raining the whole time. Mom took a quick video clip of us starting on our adventure. Everyone else musta stayed inside on this walk because we didn't see any other peeps or pups on the trail. Had it all to ourselves.
Later & have a fun day. Thanks for visiting.
