Wet Walk & Shelter Challenge

Hi furiends, We (Sasha & I) just got back from a long walkie. The 2 little ones stayed home becuz it was Cold & Windy & Rainy. We had some good sniffs & stuff but it was good to get back home. Becuz of the weather we avoided having to get our pics taken. Mom's hands were cold so she left the camera thingie in her pocket. Our little Chica ( maybe Piglet would be a better name) is a VERY fast eater. So the vet suggested we put rocks in her dish. BUT we had to make sure they were big as her head so she couldn't swallow them.
It worked. Now she really has to work hard & it takes her longer. It's like a treasure hunt for food. They have slowed her down and she doesn't choke on the food.
Mom took a video of the 4 of us eating. Don't know what is so exciting about that. But she says it is good we all eat together & there are no problems. Why would we have problems???
Anyhow all of us & Mom want to thank all of you who have been voting for us in the Shelter Challenge. As of this morning we had moved up to 852 in the overall ratings and we for some reason continue to sit at 19th place for the last 5 or 6 days. Don't know what is with that when the overall is moving up so well. The contest goes until April 18th. THANKS to all of you for helping us. We really do appreciateall you are doing!!!
Love & wags to you all
Ernie, Sasha,Chica & Nicky too

  2. Ciara eats her food very fast too. Mom got a big stainless steel ball at Petco to put in her bowl, it helps but she still eats very fast. We had lots of rain earlier this week but today was a very nice day.

  4. I guess that is something my mom needs to do for me! I eat my food in less than 30 seconds!

  5. Mitch used to use the brake-fast bowl but it really didn't help out too much! I wonder what he'd think if mom put rocks in his food dish? haha
    Chica doesn't seem to mind!

    Love ya lots,

  6. Jeepers, we bet you got that big storm we had. But big doggies can handle it. Maybe snow tonight. Mother Nature seems to fight spring. We are glad the rocks work. Never heard of that idea- and a great idea that they are too big to swallow.

  7. Sky was a very fast eater, too. He ate so fast that he would vomit it all back up again. Now he has a bowl with plastic bumps built in and he has to work to get the food. He doesn't vomit anymore.
