Quiet Monday
Hi furiends, Well, it got a bit quieter here yesterday. M & D took Nicky to meet some people who wanted her. We had to stay home but Grandma took good care of us. We can talk her out of treats. The family has 3 bipeds - 2 twin girls about 12 yrs & a boy about 9. Mom said it was love at first sight for the girls & Nicky. Mom got an email this morning and the family is VERY happy with her. She even has her very own CAT to play with.
Mom said that when she said goodbye to Nicky, Nicky's eyes were at peace & she felt Nicky was telling her it was all good & that she (Nicky) was in her home. We heard she just curled into the girls on the 5 hour ride back home to Eastern WA. This is the first time in a few months that it has only been Sasha, Chica & me. WE have had fun playing & being out in the sunshine today. It'a different right now. WE have a feeling it won't be long before M brings home another little one. She is already talking & wondering who will be here next time. Don't know about her.....
Mom here.... Thank you everyone who has been voting for us. The Challenge ends April 18 and that only gives us about 6 more days to vote. WhooHoo!!! This morning we moved up to 787 overall and to 17 in WA state. That's pretty darn good considering we started late & were about 2900 overall and 83 in WA. A lot of that movement I am sure is due to all your help. There is another challenge that starts in Mid May. May ask for your help with that one too. You did so good with this one....
WAGS & Thanks
Ernie,Sasha,Chica & Mom

We has found that often the fosters do tell us where they want to be. We had two rilly grate applikashuns for this one dog and the peeples lived about 10 miles apart so mom tolded both of them she woz bringing the dog to meet both and it woz going to be the dog's decishun. They were all OK wif that and shure enuff, the dog showed mom which home she wanted to be in and she now lives there happily ever after! So Nicky is a very smart little gurl and she picked her home.
ReplyDeleteWe are so happy for Nicky.
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks to all of you, she is in a forever home now. It must be such a good feeling to know that little doggie is curling up into the laps of the little girls.
