Hi everybuddy,
Mom got an email from Remy's Mom today. (See post from Dec. 22) He was going to have a 2 surgeries. The 1st one has been done & he is recuperating. He is a very active little guy and is having a hard time or should I say giving his Mom & Dad a hard time. He is supposed to stay very quiet but it just isn't in his nature. He HATES the cone antenna he has to wear. He is keeping them very busy trying to keep him not active. Keep your paws crossed please that he continues to improve. Thanks also for the support and comments when we posted about him.
Two cuddlers. Sasha was sleeping and Chica cuddled in to her. I think Sasha's head is BIGGER than all of Chica. We said she was about 10 pounds. Wrong. She is only about 5 1/2 pounds.
Mom found her climbing in an empty sack some dog food was in. She always seems to be hungry. For a little girl she has a big appetite.
This is not the kind of food she eats but she was sure checking out the bag. Actually earlier she was totally in the bag, but Mom didn't have the camera.

Well Chica has made herself at home, seeing her cuddle up to Sasha is great, does Ernie put up with this cuddling.She does look small next to Sasha's head. It is difficult to tell the size of a dog on a photo. Glad Remy is over part of his surgery paws crossed the rest will go well.

we think chica is just sweet. we can't believe how tiny she is and she is fitting in perfectly! we are thinking about Remy!

ReplyDeleteGreat to know another dog loving family in Seattle. What a great pack of K9s and bipeds. See you at the dog park someday (when we get back from the desert). Good for you for adopting. Will be watching for good news about Remy. If you put a cable under his tail, he might pick up HBO (ha ha, our running joke about our first Golden who spent a lot of time with a cone on his head).
