Hi Ernie here.... We found this on a bed. Is it a new antenna?? Maybe there will be better reception??!

Chica was gone for a day or so and when they brought her home she was wearing this. She doesn't look too happy about it.

She is kinda pitiful with it on. But it doesn't seem to hold her back. Mom took her outside to pee and she kept bumping into things but it didn't slow her down. BUT we can't play with her for a 10 to 14 days. Bummer!!!!!! She want to play but they won't let her. She is spending a bit more time in her crate except when she is going outside to pee & stuff or sitting in a lap. They say she was spayed. Whatever that is.... For sure no puppies.
We miss playing with her. She is awfully fast and ducks under and around things. Sasha & I have lots of fun chasing her. We can't go some of the places she can though. Not fair.
Including a video clip of us playing before she was surgeried.
We can hardly wait until she is free again to play and go up & down stairs & stuff. We check her out every day. Only a week (what does that mean)to go.

Ernie, Sasha & Chica
PeeEss: M & D have actually decided to keep her. They filled out the paperwork. Mom is still planning to foster another pup. There are more coming in very soon. Maybe we need a bigger house?????
There are many uses for your 'antenna'. You can see how Augie handled them here:

Congratulashuns on the spay - no more puppehs and no more PMS! Yay! And congrats on the new sis. One thing that cone is rilly good for: If'n you fling it down flat on the ground in front of you, it collects all of the wonnerful odors and you can sniff them all in one place wifout moving your hed around.
ReplyDeleteAww Chica can't go out to play? Bummer! Ernie...
ReplyDeleteSasha, you be careful with Chica and take care of her.
You look cute on your header photo!
Hi Ernie,
ReplyDeleteGlad to know that Chica is such a fun playmate to have around... hope she'll be out of the cone thingy soon.
Licks, hero
Glad everything went well with Chica's surgery!
ReplyDeleteYes, the cone is not funny at all!
She will be playing with you two in no time!
Be patient!
I loved the video!

I am pretty sure we saw humans holding them on the sidelines of a football game. Anyway, they sell soft pillowy ones at Petco

ReplyDeleteBut YAY on your new furever home!!!
Licks and sniffs,

Bigger house is right! I hope that cone departs a little early! :)
ReplyDeleteI've heard that those antenna things are no fun. I hope you heal quickly, Chica. How exciting that you've found your furever home.:)

Teddy Bear
Poor Chica! I don't think I would like that Martian-thing on my head, either. And no playing for 12-14 days?!?! Poor pups! That is no fun! But hey, now that Chico is officially a part of your family, you have the rest of your lives to play! Woofs!

p.s. yes, you need a bigger house. the bigger the house, the more room to play and the more pups to live there!
oh, those elizabethan collars! our guys get panicky when they have to wear them. looks like chica is a little more serene.
ReplyDeleteThe evil lampshade stinks! We hope Chica feels better soon so she can ditch it!
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch
I called back to see how Chica was doing, and my comment was not on, have I put it in the wrong place. Now never have I wrote such a long comment before with my one claw typing. But watching you pair so confused as to where Chica was going to be next was funny. She is running rings round you, and will again once she gets her lamp shade off. Hope she is ok. Roll on the next foster pup. Just hope it is a grumpy or you will have loads of brothers and sisters.
ReplyDeletePoor Chica, soon the cone will be off and you can all start learning to be a family.
