BRRRRR! Whiskey Woods Again...

Hi Everybuddy,
We went for another long walk and ended up in Whiskey Woods again.  It's a great place.  Mucho peemail and running space.

Sasha stopped to read a book or large peemail and had to run to catch up.  It was an uphill run and she did great!!!!

There it is.... the creek.  She loves that place.  As cold as it was she was right in the middle of it.

Sammy and his Mom in a tug of war with a stick.  He loves his sticks.  He has jaws of iron and can really hang on to them.  Mom missed the pic where his feets were waaaay off the ground.  Still he hung on. We think he likes that game.

Don't know if you can see it well but the creek is freezing over.

What is that thing????  Is that an alien Ernie look alike????

Nope,  it's just me and I sure like to run free when I can.  I am so happy.

Back to the big sniff parade.  Sometimes all 3 of us try to sniff the same thing at the same time.  Then when we try to leave peemail.  It is a close call.  We have to watch our heads - especially Sasha becuz of me and Sammy.  Sasha has learned to pull her head out of the way.

Sammy & I were wearing our coats.  Sasha didn't think she needed hers yet. Also Mom has to finish hers.  The one she has worn belonged to the greyhound they used to have and it is a bit snug on her --- but it works & isn't too tight.

An interesting tree.  With all the leaves off we could see how it had twisted and grown around, up, and between the other trees.

After our long walk, we got to have ice cream..  We like that!!  Dad gave us some off a spoon.  I am learning to get it off the spoon.  They have to hold on to the spoon.  I reallllly bite off the icecream.

Sasha has a very gentle way of getting the ice cream off a spoon.  She is very gentle and careful.

Hope you all have a fun and happy weekend.  Thanks for stopping by to visit.

  12. What a great day - a walk in the woods and ice cream, too. Morgan and Tsar are gentle with the spoon, but we water dogs snap at it. Mom tells us to be more careful or we'll swallow the spoon.

  16. Wow! You dogs have a great walking place! I would love to run around there. I bet you read lots of pee-mail from all different kinds of four-legged critters! Any good gossip amongst the skunks?

My human K LOVES the twisted-up tree. Me, it looks like a good place to leave some pee-mail!

  20. Thank you for taking us on your Nature walk with you. It was beautiful. We love the twisted tree, we have some of those too.
And the ice on the creek- oh yes- it was so cold wasn't it? I know the cold does not bother you- cause you play so hard and all.
I am confused as to how you could still want ice cream after a cold walkie- but none the less- your daddy was very nice to share.
We hope you got a nice nap after that long nature walk.
    love
