Hey everybuddy,   Ernie here.   Not sure what got into the mom today but she gave all 5 of us baths.  Didn't think it was necessary. You can probably guess who won.  She did. It has been hot so have to admit the bath felt good and we were very playful after....

Mom took. A video clip of Lucas and Louie Playing.
The rescue we are with is putting together our 3rd annual calendar.  All 5. Of us were adopted thru them  I Ernie was adopted right up front.  The other 4 were fosters first.   It is said they were foster failures.  NOT...they are just special snd  the pawrents decided to keep them... short version of their stories.
New baby Louie on the left and our "in charge" Chica.  Louie likes to cuddle and it was cute to see how Louie wiggled his way into cuddling with Chica.
Our foster Tommy on the left (he was adopted. .but She likes this picture)..Louie on the right.  Such pals and they cuddled and played hard all the time.
We had to stay home while Mom went with the grand biped to the car museum.  Mom said it was a huge place with very. Old cars and some new ones.
At the beach showing. The fosters the fun we could have there.   The grand biped love it there too.  Collected shells.  A hike down and back up gave us lots of exercise.
Have a good week. .

Lexi, Tommy, Louie

Whoo....didn't realize we had been among the missing for so long. The little pup in the 1st picture is Lexi. She was the sweetest foster puppy and so cute!  She us a mix of Boxer & pit type dog as close as anyone can tell.  We didn't have her very long. A wonderful family adopted her.

Tommy on the left and Louie on the right. They were awesome best friends and also fosters.   Tommy us a mix if Dachshund and maybe Jack Russell.  He has the best temperament.  Very sweet, mellow, & happy.

Tommy & Louie while being fostered together were so bonded and so very close.

Always snuggling and cuddling when not playing.
Handsome Tommy. Miss him but he now has a family of his iwn.  That is good

Ernie, Chica,  Rosie..upper right & Lucas in lower right.  Usually the 3 little one are cuddled together.  This was unusual.  We had been traveling. When we got in the hotel room, mom put down a fleece blanket.  She and dad got a good laugh over how we each picked out a corner to lay on.and the far corners to boot...

Introducing our newest family member....Louie :-)  he is 6 months old and Is a Pom/Chi mix.he is so fun and fits in wonderfully with all of us other furkids.   He really likes us and. follows me outside ---me being Ernie--'  he takes turns cuddling with the others.  I like him but I am not ready to gave him cuddke.  I think I am his leader...yes, that is me...

Well everybuddy it's been a busy few days...it's me Ernie.  Chowder was adopted yesterday.   The brown and white dog is his new sister Bella. Look at those tails wagging.  Wonder what his new name will be.....
This is our new little foster Jack.  He

He came from a hoarding. Situation and has the sweetest and happiest way about him.  He has already started playing with us dogs and toys.  Mom has found 3 ticks on him so far. His hair is thick and long.

Moms favorite pictures of Chowder.  She just had to
Include them she said.

5/31/14 Update

Jack was adopted.  He has people who really love him and the best part or maybe one of the best
Parts is...he will be learning how to be a therapy dog and in his new family there is a boy who is Autistic. Awesome thing is the boy and Jack started to interact or connect when they first met.

That's my Chica .. Oreo yay!

Hey everybuddy,  it's me Chica.  We voted and I won.  I get to do a post about my pawtastic day.  M got all of us  up and fed.  Then the surprise!  The others all stayed home and I got to go on a day trip.
We were in the car for a lonnnng time as far as I was concerned.  M said it was only about an hour. Good thing I rested on the trip. It was RAINING. Lots and was Muddy.
We went to a farm with lots of sheep and ducks.  Having trouble posting my video.

When I went into the pen  with the big sheep, it was raining Hard, very muddy,.  I am not a big fan of heavy rain.  So I decided I wasn't really into sheep.  I walked to the gate and was ready to leave.  And  Mom was laughing hard.  Just not right....it was decided to send me to the duck pen.
Did I ever show and surprise everyone.  Joe only had to correct me 2 times....once I had a stubborn white duck by the throat and when I grabbed some tail feathers out of  one of the others.
After that Joe only had to remind  me by saying "steady" or "easy".  And I was awesome.
Mom thought I was doing ok.  What did she know. Joe told me I was doing great and was a fast learner.  Everyone congratulated me on doing so well and  I felt good.  I want to go again.  Mom promised she would work on getting the video ok to post.

These little ones were with us for about a week while their foster pawrents were on a trip. Cowboy is the bigger one and Hanai is the girl.  They were about 8 weeks old and lots of fun and very playful andhey were both adopted after they went back to their foster pawrents. :-)
Now for Oreo.... she was adopted last Friday. She has an awesome big dog brother.  They were so excited and happy to adopt her.  Not sure what her new name will be but sure they are going to change it.  After the adoption papers were signed Oreo noticed her new brother Jan had a big fluffy tail.  Fun to pkay with.  She grabbed the fluffy tup and started pulling.  He ignored her and she being 4 to almost 5 lbs.  Actually pulled him about an inch.

Have a wonderful weekend

Spa Day ..newest foster

Hey everybuddy, it's me Ernie.  How do you like my new look?  The Mom said she was busy with painting inside our house and helping the rescue we are with.  Mom usually does it herself.

Don't tell Mom but I think I am even handsome with my new look.  Nothing personal mom but the peep who gave me the spa day works is better than you. They even took the hairs out of my ears.  I heard mom tell the dad she was going to take me there more often.
At the food place m and d go to gave mom this breakfast birthday goodie AND even sang happy birthday to her.  Everybody in the place clapped.  M was a bit embarrassed but said it was very nice of them.
Me and my new look again.  Practicing my pose for becoming a celebrity.... well... a pup can dream...right

This is our newest foster girl..Oreo.  She came to us last week. She already had a meeting with a family today. Mom said it wasn't the best fit.
Good news is even tho the one family didn't think she was a good fit and their dog wasn't sure about having a pesky lively puppy around.
Tomorrow is another day and Oreo is going to be meeting another family.

She is a wonderful, smart, happy girl.  She is 3 months old and is catching on To potty training and..being on a leash and other important stuff.
.
Have a fun weekend.

Serene Sunday

Hey everybuddy,  it's been a really quiet peaceful day.  Rain..rain..and more rain. It's me Lucas. Here I am trying to rest and Chica cuddling.
Think my ear is tickling her. Mom said I was giving her the old stink eye.  Well, I am not that kind of dog.

Mom was playing with her phone.  She gets carried. Away putting "cute" stuff in the pictures.

This day she was into hearts.  Glad it wasn't cigars or ones like that.
Rosie was lucky ...This time... not fair.   We will convince Mom to decorate her pic next time

Really good news for Giulietta or As we called her. JULIE... She was adopted Saturday at the adoption event.    Her new mom loved her at 1st sight. She said she had been wanting a dog for a long time And the best part was Julie was exactly how she always thought her dog would be.  Julie went right up to her and crawled in her lap and gave her kisses.  That did it.
Mom says she has lots of projects....painting the inside of the house for starters.  Guess that's just the beginning . ..

We may not have a foster for a bit until mom finishes paintong and stuffs...but we know mom...she looks at the faces needing a foster and says ok.
Heard mom and dad say it was almost too quiet today without a foster or fosters here.  Actually it had been kinda nice for us furkids.  But maybe too quiet for us too....hmmmmm

YAY Sadie :-)

Saturday Feb 8 Sadie was adopted . She  now has a brother named Wallace. A very cute Long hair Doxie.  He is 9 and she is only a year.  I am sure he will be teaching her the ropes and rules.
Her new pawrents were so happy to meet her at our adoption event they came EARLY. They had an appointment  for 10am but were there by 9:30. She even met the grandparents and they were also smitten with her.  We really miss her but are very happy too.
Seems kind of quiet right now with only our 4.  Chica was looking for Sadie this morning checking out the crate she had been using.
Hoping you all have a good week.

Tuesday update

Hello everybuddy,  Ernie here finally.  Finally got M to give up the keyboard so I could get back to it.  Chico was adopted by some wonderful people last Friday Jan. 31.  He even has an older buddy to be with.  They didn't even mind that he is a naked dog and would be wearing clothes outside.   They were so happy with him.
We had one whole night with no foster pups.  We thought it was nice having m & d all to ourselves.  The new foster is Sadie.

Sadie is a year old and is as close as can be told a wire haired Doxie mix.    She is very sweet, happy AND mom thinks the best part is she seems to be house trained.  She let's them know she has to go outside.

Here I am keeping an eye on her making sure she has fun and doesn't get in any trouble. .... what a responsibility.   Mom told me I was a very good boy.  She tells me that a lot.
It was really cold here today and it is supposed to get even colder.  Maybe even some snow.
but it won't be anything like some of you have or are getting.
Enjoy the week.

This little girl will be coming to us  on Saturday nights transport.  Looking forward to meeting her and learning more about her.  We named her Sadie and she us about 2 years old.  A Doxie mix.

A little wordy for a wordless Wednesday.   It is raining VERY HARD today.  Might need a canoe and flippers. .....:-)
